Description:

Hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Call starts at the end of the shift and extends to 7:00 AM the following day.
One weekday call is required every other week along with rotating weekends.
Nurses may be required to take up to 9 calls in a 13-week period, depending on the rotation.
Candidates must be able to arrive at the hospital within 30 minutes when on call.
Certifications required include BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
Moderate sedation training is also mandatory.
An average of 18 cases are performed daily, with potential for upwards of 35 on busier days.
The charting system in use is Cerner.
