This 13-week travel nursing opportunity places you in an acute care Operating Room setting handling a variety of surgical cases and delivering high-quality perioperative care.

- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (March 16, 2026 – June 15, 2026)
- Position: Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) / Perioperative Nurse
- Setting: Acute Care – Operating Room (surgical nurse role)
- Shifts: 8-hour day shifts (7:00am – 3:30pm or 8:00am – 4:30pm)
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Call Requirement: Call begins at end of shift to 7:00am next day; one weekday call every other week and rotating weekends (up to 9 calls in 13 weeks, depending on rotation). Must be able to arrive at the hospital within 30 minutes when on call.
- Charting System: Cerner (experience with Cerner EMR preferred)
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2170-$2290/week
- Active RN license — Indiana or compact state nursing license acceptable
- At least 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) / perioperative nursing experience
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
- Moderate sedation training and experience required
- Ability to participate in call rotation and arrive within 30 minutes when on call
- Strong teamwork, communication, and OR sterile technique skills
- Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care across a range of surgical specialties (average ~18 cases/day; up to 35 on busy days)
- Serve as an OR RN assisting surgeons and surgical teams while maintaining strict sterile technique and patient safety standards
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, including administration and monitoring of moderate sedation and recovery care
- Document patient assessments, procedures, medications, and perioperative care accurately in Cerner
- Respond promptly to emergent surgical needs while on call and participate fully in the call rotation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (anesthesia, surgical techs, PACU, and inpatient units) to ensure smooth patient flow and exceptional clinical outcomes
- Hands-on perioperative experience in a busy acute care OR — ideal for OR RNs seeking travel nursing assignments and professional growth
