CCU / PCU RN – Combined Unit
• Beds: 12 total (6 CCU / 6 PCU)
• Ratios: CCU 1:2 | PCU 1:3–4

Certifications:

BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Experience:

2+ years preferred | Drip titration required
• Common Diagnoses:
Sepsis, respiratory distress, DKA, OD/ETOH withdrawal
• Drips:
Levophed, insulin, dopamine, heparin Support & Equipment:
• Charge RN each shift | House Supervisor nights & weekends
• Nurse aides available
• RT equipment: vents, CPAP, BiPAP, oximizer
• Telemetry with monitor techs; RNs must read strips

Schedule:

• 12-hr shifts (6:00–6:30) | Self-scheduling (6 weeks out)
• Weekends: 4 shifts per 6-week schedule
• Holidays: 1 major + 1 minor if within contract
• Call:
As needed only Floating:
Med-Surg if needed | ER only if ER-experienced Dress Code:
Navy blue scrubs Orientation: 1 day facility + 1–2 days unit orientation
