Job DescriptionJoin a leading global supplier of magnet wire as a Lab Technician. You will play a vital role in our magnet wire testing laboratory, ensuring the quality and performance of our products.
Responsibilities- Complete quality tests of magnet wire for quality specifications, investigation, design proposals, R&D, improvement, and performance.
- Conduct testing on QA and experimental runs, action requests, and sample orders.
- Assist in preparing magnet wire enamels, thinners, lubricants, and other materials.
- Perform inspection and analysis of raw materials and chemical products to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Execute a range of complex tests requiring meticulous attention to detail.
- Read, understand, and use detailed instructions to perform testing and enter data.
- Present data and prepare reports or charts to communicate test results.
- Utilize chemical testing equipment and measuring instruments.
- Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and management to analyze and resolve issues.
- Engage with quality systems and tools, being actively involved in the quality management system.
- Follow all procedures, methods, and guidelines to meet quality, safety, and production goals.
- Enter records or document data for company reports.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers to maintain positive working relationships.
- High School Diploma required;
Bachelor's degree in a scientific field preferred. - Minimum of 1+ years of GMP experience.
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in quality and quality control lab technician roles.
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience with basic laboratory techniques.
- Ability to work a 12‑hour schedule.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of computers.
- Familiarity with Quality Systems (ISO/QS/TS).
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and above‑average mechanical skills.
- Good analytical and problem‑solving skills.

This is a 1st shift position with a 2‑2‑3 schedule, working from 8 AM to 8 PM. Training will be conducted on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday. The role offers a cohesive team environment with opportunities for learning and growth.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, IN.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.40 – $21.65 per hour.
