Broad Functions:

The primary responsibility of an Operations Manager is to partner with leadership and directly with the client to ensure successful execution of daily operations by meeting and/or exceeding KPIs and SLA.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • 1. Responsible for monitoring the overall operations.
  • 2. Manage customer relationships.
  • 3. Partner in developing nGroup's strategic goals.
  • 4. Identify business opportunities to improve revenue streams.
  • 5. Drives nGroup's profitability goals.
  • 7. Partner in review and negotiate business contracts.

Leadership/Management:
  • 1. Implement and promote nGroup's vision and vision.
  • 2. Develop reward policies, plans, and programs that are competitive and cost-effective.

Decision

Decision Making/Authority:
  • 1. Collaborate with other leaders/Directors/DVPs to decide on business strategies
  • . 2. Ensure compliance with company policies local and federal regulations.
  • 3. Assess, evaluate, and report on overall team and individual leader performance
  • 4. Seek new business tools and methods.
  • 1. Set performance and financial goals and attain them through team direction and management
  • 2. Provide leadership and guidance to Operations on CPU strategy, KPIs, obstacles to performance, and continuous improvement strategies.
  • 3. Prepare and allocate budgets.
  • 4. Define and cascade down SMART objectives.
Relationship Management:
  • 1. Work alongside senior leadership and promote culture.
  • 2. Making strategic decisions about hiring and terminating current staff based on performance issues or corporate needs.
  • 3. Develop new and existing leaders within the organization.
  • 4. Oversee the assessment and evaluation of training and development needs at all levels.
Business Alignment:
  • 1. Identify ways to maximize SLA performance and revenue.
  • 2. Set goals, monitor work, and evaluate results.
    3. Recommend changes to company policies or procedures.
  • 3. Provide business updates to the AGM/GM regularly.
Talent Development:
  • 1. Facilitate the onboarding process—schedule equipment training and certification.
  • 2. Continually focuses on and develops talent, including self-development. Coaches, mentors, and provides feedback to leadership on associates' performance. Continuously drives programs to support internal retention, both hourly and salaried members of designated teams.
  • 3. Champions development initiatives as they are rolled out and executes necessary compliance trainings
  • 4. Develops and mentors associates who are interested in pursuing a leadership role within the organization.
  • 5. Experienced in providing coaching and feedback to the leadership team.
Skills and

Qualifications:
  • 1. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2. 2+ years' experience in a warehouse setting in an operations Manager capacity.
  • 3. Ability to develop and deliver long and short-term plans as part of the overall strategy for achieving successful operational goals.
  • 4. Ability to collaborate well with client to ensure solid & trusting relationship are maintained for the life of the account.
  • 5. Ability to de-escalate associate relation challenges before handing them off to the Human Resources Manager.

The associate will perform their duties in an office environment and walking in a warehouse environment. Associates in these positions frequently operate a computer, read and write, and interact with others in person, over the phone, and via other devices.

They move about within the office & warehouse to access file cabinets, documents, office machinery, and other equipment. The associate is also occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and either lift or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
