Position: Inside Sales Representative (B2B)

Are you a proactive and results-driven individual with a passion for building lasting customer relationships? Join our dynamic business to business (B2B) sales team as an Inside Sales Representative and be part of a team where you can drive your own success in a supportive environment. As an Inside Sales Rep, you’ll play a vital role in driving revenue growth for our family-owned business in the material handling equipment and services industry by nurturing warm leads and conducting discovery calls with industrial, commercial, and construction business customers to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions.

Duties

and Responsibilities

As an Inside Sales Rep, you’ll play a vital role in building customer relationships and driving revenue growth by

  • Engaging Warm Leads – Nurture inbound and outbound leads, follow up on website inquiries, and conduct discovery calls to understand customer needs and present them with tailored solutions.
  • Qualifying Opportunities – Initiate contact with prospective and current customers, assess their needs, and ensure seamless handoff to Outside Sales/Territory Managers.
  • Supporting Sales Efforts – Partner with Outside Sales/Territory Managers to grow accounts, re-engage dormant customers, and identify opportunities for additional business.
  • Managing CRM Activities – Track leads, update records, and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities in Salesforce.
  • Building Knowledge – Develop expertise in National Lift Truck’s products, services, and value propositions to position yourself as a trusted resource for customers.
  • Additional Responsibilities
    :
    Flexibility to assist with other sales-related duties.
Qualifications – What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience: 1–3 years in customer service, inside sales, or B2B development preferred. Industry experience is a strong plus.
  • Communication

    Skills:

    Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to problem-solve and negotiate. Confident in engaging with customers at every level in the organization, from service techs to business owners.
  • Organizational & Computer

    Skills:

    Highly organized with accurate data-entry skills. Basic MS Office Suite experience needed. Salesforce experience a plus.
  • Mindset: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and in a team setting.
  • Customer Focus: Passion for delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships.
  • Location:

    Franklin Park, IL
  • In-Person, office environment with occasional visits to warehouse/shop settings
  • Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Compensation
  • Salary: $53,000/year base salary plus commissions and bonuses.
    Target income $65,000-$80,000/year uncapped
  • Bonus Opportunities: Uncapped commissions opportunities, bonuses, and profit sharing opportunities
