HOURS:

Scot Forge performs a hair follicle drug screen, lift test up to 65 lbs and background check.

Scot Forge is a 100% employee-owned company that manufactures custom open die and rolled ring forgings.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Coordinate metal pre-forgings with Blacksmith.
• Load and unload 65 lb pieces with tongs into forge furnace and hammer
• Remove scrap from pit, shovel and unload.

Scot Forge has a customized training program for how we forge and stamp metal available for the right candidate.

Minimal Skills-

• Ability to do frequent heavy lifting in a hot work environment
• Strong Math and Mechanical aptitude
• Tape measure and computer experience
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Skills -

• Previous manufacturing experience
• Use of micrometer, caliper, tape measure
• Machine set up and operation
