Join the Residential Home Health and Residential Hospice team as a volunteer. We are on a mission to positively impact patients and their families by providing compassionate companionship in our home and hospice settings.

We are governed by core values that emphasize collaboration, empathy, and excellence in care. Our volunteer program serves as a support to families by providing presence and companionship for hospice patients and respite for caregivers.

Responsibilities:

• Visit hospice patients in the community and provide companionship and a caring presence.
• Follow the program orientation and training provided by the support staff.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including completing background check, drug screening, fingerprinting, and TB test.
• Respect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality of personal information.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Notwithstanding, we cannot accept any court‑ordered community service.
• Willingness to attend orientation and complete required screenings.

We provide supportive staff and training to help you make a difference in patients’ lives and in the community.

Locations:
Franklin Park, IL (and surrounding area). Volunteer status is unpaid. Applications are currently accepted.
