Landscape Laborer

Overview

Crystal Lake Landscaping Inc, Mahwah, NJ. Daily transportation will be provided from a central location to and from worksites in the counties of Bergen and Passaic.

2 Landscape Laborer positions available. Temporary, full-time positions with the following schedules:

• Position A: 04/01/2026 through 12/15/2026, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 40 hrs/week, overtime varies, Monday-Friday with some Saturdays required, schedule varies, end times vary. Pay: $21.91/hr; overtime $32.87/hr.
• Position B: 03/15/2026 through 12/15/2026, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 40 hrs/week, overtime varies, Monday-Friday with some Saturdays required, schedule varies, end times vary. Pay: $21.91/hr; overtime $32.87/hr.

• Cut, trim, edge, weed, plant, mulch, water; rake, blow leaves;
  Spring and Fall clean up (use rakes, backpack and push blowers to remove leaves and sticks from customer property).

Able to lift up to 75 lbs.

• No experience required; will train.

Workers will be paid weekly at $21.91/hr with overtime at $32.87/hr.

Employer may make payroll deductions at employee's request. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. All legally required deductions will be made. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the job.

If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract, the employer will arrange and pay directly for initial transportation and subsistence costs from the place of recruitment to the place of employment for those traveling from distances where they are not reasonably able to return home each day.

Upon completion or early dismissal, the employer will provide or pay for reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment. Transportation payment will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel, up to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts.

H2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for visa, visa processing, border crossing, and related fees (excluding passport fees).
