Responsibilities- As a Part-Time Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician, leverage behavioral therapy experience and work with children to make a lasting impact on our clients.
- Relate effectively to parents, management, and health and social service agencies, using understanding of child and adolescent growth and strong interpersonal skills.
- Develop and communicate policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all agency regulations.
- Maintain required documentation and implement behavior management principles according to state licensing policies.
- Facilitate onsite and field training sessions, demonstrating empathy and effective listening skills.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with time efficiency and flexibility; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferred; strong background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or special education, with appropriate training and experience.
- Minimum of one year of experience in behavior analysis and intervention, supporting individuals with emotional, mental health, neurological, and developmental disabilities.
- Active RBT certification; we provide the 40-hour online certification course.
- Key skills include a deep understanding of behavioral therapy practices, excellent communication for liaising with parents and multidisciplinary teams, and a commitment to adhering to state licensing policies.
- Proficiency with Central Reach, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for documentation and reporting.
- Empathy, adaptability, and strong organizational skills to excel in a client-focused environment.
