Technical Director / Head of Development – Mixed Realities

NSYNK is looking for a Technical Director / Head of Development (m/w/d) who lives and breathes immersive technologies – and knows how to lead others into uncharted territory. In this key role, you combine strategic thinking with hands‑on development experience, guide clients and teams alike, and help us shape what’s next in Mixed Realities.

• Technical Leadership: You lead the development of immersive projects across VR, AR, and spatial computing – from concept to launch. You make things possible, scalable, and future‑ready.
• Client Advisory & Solution Design: You consult clients across industries and translate complex needs into smart, forward‑thinking technical solutions – with a strong sense for brand and experience.
• Team Leadership & Growth: You lead and structure our development team, plan resources, define workflows, and create a collaborative, high‑performance environment.
• Innovation & Technology Scouting: You keep us at the forefront by identifying and evaluating new tools, platforms, and frameworks – and by shaping NSYNK’s own tools like Hyper slides.
• Cost Awareness & Project Control: You balance creative ambition with pragmatic tech leadership. Budgets, timelines and quality are in your hands.

  You report directly to the management and help define the technical direction of NSYNK on a strategic level.

• Expertise: Several years of experience in leading complex, interactive, tech‑driven projects – ideally in immersive media, gaming, spatial design or agency settings.
  
  -Tech Stack Fluency:
  Strong knowledge of Unity and Unreal Engine. Experience with versioning tools, like GIT and Plastic.
• Strategic Thinking & Communication: You bring clarity to complexity. You understand business needs, can advise clients on C‑Level and communicate technology with empathy and precision.
• Team Culture & Structure: You’re a structured mind and a people person. You organize, support and inspire your team.
• Curiosity & Vision: You’re hungry for what’s next. You love emerging tech, but know how to use it meaningfully.
• Multilingual Communication: You feel confident working in both German and Englisch
