Postdoctoral Research Associates

to commence at the earliest possible date. Doctoral Research positions are offered for at least 3 years, postdoctoral research positions for at least 2 years. - Pursue independent and collaborative research in arithmetic algebraic geometry within the CRC GAUS.
- Engage actively in mathematical discussions, learning seminars, and research seminars within the department and the CRC community.
- Make use of funding opportunities to travel to workshops and conferences, build your professional network, and, if you wish, organize scientific events.
- You hold (or are close to completing) a university degree with above average grades in mathematics or a related field that meets the qualifications required for a doctorate.
- Your research interests align with or foster links within the research programme at CRC GAUS
- You are eager to pursue your own research ideas and to contribute to the mathematical activities of the department and the CRC GAUS.
- You work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
- You speak and write English fluently. German language skills are not required.
- You hold (or are close to completing) a strong doctorate in mathematics or a closely related field.
- You have a solid background in modern algebraic geometry and a strong interest in its arithmetic aspects.
- You are eager to pursue your own research ideas and to contribute to the mathematical activities of the department and the CRC GAUS.
- Applications should contain a cover letter, CV, copies of degree certificates and full academic transcripts, as well as evidence of proficiency in English.
- Applicants are invited to include examples of their academic work if appropriate.
- Applicants should also nominate at least two potential supervisors listed as investigators in a relevant research area within the CRC GAUS.
- Please name at least two persons that can be contacted for letters of recommendation.
