Sewer Plant Maintenance Tech (Manufacturing)

Under direct supervision, performs repair and maintenance of all plant equipment and vehicles; maintains all tools and equipment; assists with inspections; maintains accurate inspection records; reports problems to supervisor.

• Assists in the maintenance of pumps and equipment associated with the wastewater treatment plant, checks equipment on a regularly scheduled basis to insure proper operating condition and preventative maintenance on all plant equipment;
• Maintains all tools and equipment in good working order;
• Assists plant operations as needed to ensure proper plant operations;
• Assists with rebuilding equipment;
• Assists with preventative maintenance on all plant equipment;
• Reports all problems to supervisor;
• Assists other departments and/or agencies as directed;
• Assists contractors working on sewer projects as directed;
• Operate Vacuum Truck and Dump Truck
• Other duties as assigned.
