Buffalo Trace Distillery is a fully operational facility producing bourbon, rye, and vodka on site. It is a National Historic Landmark and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The distillery has won 17 titles since 2000 from notable publications like Whisky Magazine, Whisky Advocate Magazine, and Wine Enthusiast Magazine. It was named “Brand Innovator of the Year” by Whisky Magazine at the 2015 Icons of Whisky America Awards.

When a matching position opens, candidates from this talent pool will be the first to be reviewed and contacted.

Primary responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Assembling bottle components by hand: applying labels, inserting caps or corks, or placing bottles into cases
• Material handling: loading bottles onto a production line, removing dunnage, or stacking cases onto a pallet
• Operating bottling equipment through tooling adjustments, feeding components into magazines/hoppers, troubleshooting equipment errors, and monitoring production efficiencies
• Inspecting bottle quality and repairing incorrect production
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment through routine sanitation efforts

Physical requirements may include (but are not limited to):

• Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs
• Pushing, pulling, and/or climbing
• Continuous standing and/or walking
• Working in areas that are not temperature-controlled

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum education level of High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Proven stable, safe work history with an excellent attendance record; minimum of one year of work experience
• Ability to work flexible shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd), including weekend overtime
