The Enterprise System Developer is responsible for the automation of business processes, creation of APIs and the development of custom reports for the University. This position is responsible for maintaining and supporting Ellucian Banner ERP System and its associated integrations as well as the development of new integrations and processes that will automate business processes and help end users leverage technology.

This position requires a good understanding of SDLC, business intelligence, and project management skills.

• Develops ERP process automation and API solutions utilizing various programming languages.
• Develops reporting solutions utilizing various reporting tools.
• Uses knowledge of application tables and file structures to identify and solve system issues.
• Develops end user documentation and technical documentation on development and functional knowledge.
• Develops project plans with detailed steps and estimates within project planning software.
• Works effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in continuous performance improvement meetings to improve processes and standards.
• Assists with maintaining and supporting Banner ERP System and its associated integrations.
• Works with Application Vendors.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

• Experience with relevant development tools, applications, and system architecture.
• Ability to prioritize well and work on multiple tasks and projects at one time.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new languages, frameworks, and technologies.
• Experience using common development practices.
• Comprehensive technical knowledge of both the information technology field and computer science. Experience with a variety of programming.
• Detail-oriented with good written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a customer service attitude and willingness to work in a team-oriented environment.

• This position does not have supervisory responsibility.

• Bachelor s degree with 4+ years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
