Our government client is seeking a Technical Writer with experience in developing documentation, policies/procedures, and/or system requirements to join its team. They are creating a new cloud solution as they transition from a mainframe environment.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with software developers, business analysts, and project manager to gather technical information and understand project requirements.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, API documentation, technical specifications, and release notes.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, easy-to-understand documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Review and edit existing documentation to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Keep documentation up to date with software updates and changes and manage version control.
- Conduct regular quality assurance checks on documentation to ensure its accuracy and relevance.
