What Youll Do
  • Personal Care Assistance:
    Provide assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting) while ensuring comfort, privacy, and dignity.
  • Safety and Security:
    Monitor residents for signs of distress or illness, follow safety protocols, including fall prevention, and respond to incidents.
  • Documentation:
    Maintain accurate records of resident care, changes in condition, medication administration, and daily activities.
  • Communication:
    Collaborate with the nursing team and other staff to ensure clear communication about residents’ needs and updates.
  • Resident Engagement:
    Plan and participate in recreational activities, exercise programs, and social events to support physical and emotional well-being; tailor activities to residents’ interests.
  • Maintain Residents Privacy:
    Protect residents’ privacy and confidentiality in line with HIPAA and facility policies.
What You Bring
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: GED or high school diploma is a typical minimum educational requirement.
  • People

    Skills:

    Friendly, patient, and a good listener; treat residents like family.
  • Team Player:
    Ability to work collaboratively with the nursing team and other staff.
  • Attention to Detail:
    Detail-oriented to ensure resident comfort and safety.
Working and Physical Conditions
  • Working Conditions:

    Primarily in the assisted living unit; involves hands-on work and interaction with residents, families, and staff.
  • Physical Demands:
    Regular standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and assisting residents as needed; reasonable accommodations may be available; vision and sensory requirements as described.
