Join Frankfort Regional Medical Center as a Physical Therapy Assistant, a PRN role focused on restoring function, mobility, and relieving pain for patients under the direction of a Physical Therapist. This position offers part‑time hours and competitive compensation.

The Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for providing services that help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients with injuries or disease as directed by the Physical Therapist. The PTO works closely with the Physical Therapist and patients to restore, maintain, and promote the patient’s overall fitness and health. They may be required to make assessments and give input to the Physical Therapist and to appropriately document treatments, their purpose, and the patient’s progress toward established goals.

• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care for patient populations served in the department.
• Assess, plan, evaluate and document care in coordination with the healthcare team across the continuum.
• Assess patients/families ability to learn and incorporate teaching throughout hospitalization and in preparation for discharge.
• Deliver compassionate, holistic care while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.

• State of Kentucky Physical Therapist Assistant License required.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current BLS certification obtained/maintained within required time frames.
