Quality Engineering, QA Specialist / Manager
Our client is seeking a Quality Engineer/Manufacturing Technician for a temp to perm opportunity in Frankfort, KY. The ideal candidate will have current manufacturing experience with 2-5 years of quality engineering experience to include working with customers directly, documenting non-conformance issues (and recommendations for corrective actions), operating and programming a CMM (training provided) highly desired.
Responsibilities- Work with customers directly and document non-conformance issues, with recommendations for corrective actions.
- Operate and program a CMM (training provided; highly desired).
- APQP processes
- Understand and update Process Maps, PFMEA, Control Plans
- Work with Supplier Corrective Actions
- Lead continuous improvement activities
- Can visit customer sites (down the road-10%)
- Assist with Internal / External Audits
- Assist with Warranty Requests
- AS Degree or Greater
- Current Quality Inspection Experience
- APQP Processes
