Base pay range
: $30.00/hr – $45.00/hr.

SUMMARY:
The RN/LPN is responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents, and supervising nursing assistants. Supervision is in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as directed by the Director of Nursing.
- Direct the day‑to‑day functions of the nursing assistants; plan shift services, programs, and activities; provide leadership.
- Complete and file required record‑keeping forms upon admission, transfer, and discharge; receive and transcribe telephone orders; chart nurse’s notes; submit accident/incident reports.
- Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
- Maintain rapport with inter‑departmental and other personnel; create a calm and positive environment; attend nursing reports.
- Administer professional services such as catheterization, tube feedings, suction, dressing changes, colostomy care, blood draw, massages, range‑of‑motion exercises, and end‑of‑life care.
- Monitor personnel to ensure adherence to safety regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with a current unencumbered state license.
- Proficient in English language skills.
- Capable of making independent decisions when required.
- Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices, laws, regulations, and guidelines related to nursing care facilities.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Experience in Long‑Term Care preferred.
- Move intermittently throughout the workday.
- Cope with mental and emotional stress of the position.
- Work independently with flexibility, personal integrity, and effectiveness with residents and staff.
- Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25 pounds to a height of at least 5 feet and a distance of 50 feet.
