Position SummaryEnsure the flow of materials through the supply chain. Move materials through the company from shipments into the company to the production floor and outgoing shipments.
Essential Functions- Operate forklift, pallet jacks and other equipment to move material safely.
- Load and unload products and supplies.
- Complete Bill of Lading and packing slips.
- Open and close dock doors and dock plates following all safety requirements.
- Stage material from the receiving area to the designated storage locations.
- Select and stage products for customer orders at the pack cells.
- Stage packed product from pack cells to the designated area.
- Place product on hold when necessary to designated hold area.
- Complete all job related quality, safety, and material checks.
- Ensure safety standards are adhered to at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to work in a physically demanding role with endurance to stand for up to 8+ hours and lift 70+ pounds.
- Possess math and computer skills.
- Willing to work in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask.
- Willingness to work OT, including weekends, as needed.
HS Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
Experience1 year working in a fast‑paced manufacturing or distribution center environment.
Must have mobile equipment experience, including stand‑up and sit‑down fork trucks.
Working ConditionsWork is normally performed in a manufacturing and/or distribution center environment.
Must be able to lift up to 70+ pounds regularly and endure frequent standing, bending, twisting and turning.
