Job Description:
The Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of the restaurant during their assigned shift. They will manage and lead a team of employees to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. The Shift Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all customers receive exceptional service and that all food is prepared to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of employees during assigned shift
- Ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
- Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service
- Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Train new employees and provide ongoing training to current employees
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Ensure that all safety and sanitation procedures are followed
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a supervisory role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
