Our client is seeking immediate assistance in identifying a Controller for a direct hire position in Frankfort, Indiana.
Responsibilities- Prepare and oversee monthly financial statements
- Lead audit preparation and serve as the primary point of contact with external auditors
- Manage banking relationships, cash flow, and financial forecasting
- Oversee payroll, general ledger, and core accounting functions
- Lead and develop an accounting team of 5
- Partner with ownership and senior leadership on financial strategy and decision-making
- Maintain and optimize financial processes
Skills and Qualifications
- Prior experience in a Controller or senior accounting leadership role
- Manufacturing experience preferred but not required
- CPA preferred, not required
- Public accounting background is a plus, but not mandatory
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a family-owned business
