Manufacturing Production, Assembly
About the Role
This position offers a unique blend of custom sewing, small‑batch production, and day‑to‑day stock work. You’ll work on a wide variety of projects—sometimes 500 pieces—and may complete up to 10 different sewing tasks per day, keeping every day interesting and engaging. Using commercial sewing machines (including serger, binder, bartacker, and straight‑stitch), you’ll sew soft‑goods components that meet exact specifications and quality standards.
This is production sewing, but not traditional apparel sewing—you’ll create durable, functional pieces used in state‑of‑the‑art rehabilitation equipment. If you’re a home sewer or hobbyist who can sew a clean, straight line and enjoys variety, this is the perfect opportunity.

- Notify a trainer or supervisor of discrepancies in instructions or samples

- Record material usage and complete work order documentation
- Perform cycle counts and basic inventory checks as needed
- Properly label and package completed work
- Store products accurately and document their storage locations
- Maintain a safe, clean workstation
- Follow all safety policies and report any unsafe activity

- People who take pride in creating high‑quality, precise sewn components
- Candidates who like working with their hands and learning
- Ability to conduct simple instructions
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and quality procedure manuals
- Ability to use sewing machines as outlined
