As a Group Services Coordinator
, you’ll help design and deliver fun, meaningful, and inclusive programs that build community and enrich the lives of residents from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
What You’ll Get Hands-On Experience With:
- Planning and running events, celebrations, and community programs.
- Working with vendors, performers, and community partners.
- Creating flyers, newsletters, calendars, and digital content.
- Supporting cultural and holiday celebrations (yes—food included!).
- Coordinating wellness events like flu and vaccination clinics.
- Supporting volunteer programs and resident-led initiatives.
- Budget planning, data tracking, and program evaluation.
- Using tools like Google Workspace, Canva, Salesforce, and more.
Skills You’ll Use & Build:

- Cross-cultural communication.
- Team collaboration & problem-solving.
Ideal Background:
- Bachelor’s degree (or working toward one) in Human Services, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working with older adults and diverse communities.
- Tech-savvy and eager to learn new tools.
- English required;
Russian, Mandarin, or Cantonese a big plus!
