Haitian Creole Speaking Assistant

We are seeking a Haitian Creole Speaking Assistant to help families access childcare financial assistance and local childcare resources. This contract role pays up to $24/hour and provides both community impact and professional development, including training and the opportunity to obtain an AIRS (Alliance for Information & Referral Systems) certification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess family eligibility for childcare financial assistance and subsidy programs
  • Provide accurate information about local childcare providers and resources
  • Accurately enter and maintain family case information in online systems
  • Support families with resource navigation and referrals to appropriate programs
  • Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure quality service delivery
Requirements
  • Fluency in Haitian Creole and English (verbal and written)
  • Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry skills
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in health & human services or call center support
  • Familiarity with childcare subsidy programs or service referral systems preferred
  • Availability to work in a hybrid setup with on-site presence in Framingham, MA
Nice-to-Have Experience
  • Assisting diverse communities with accessing resources and support services
  • Experience in nonprofit or government‑funded service programs
  • Customer service in a social services or family assistance setting
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of childcare subsidy programs or case management systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or other data management tools
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills across diverse populations
