Job Title
HVAC & Plumbing Technician
LocationFramingham, MA
Duration6 Months
ScheduleMonday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm with possible overtime as needed. (Weekends only in case of emergencies.)
Must Have Skills- Free parking onsite
- EPA Certification is a plus, however not required
- Role will work under licensed plumber and HVAC worker
- Reliable transportation
- Minimum High School Diploma
- Top candidates would have both Commercial/Industrial plumbing and knowledge of HVAC (AHU’s, exhaust fans, etc.)
- Proficient with hand and power tools: pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, threading machines, pressure test pumps, gauges
- Experience with various piping materials: copper, PVC, PEX, steel
- Familiarity with water supply, drainage, gas, steam, and HVAC piping systems
- Steam and hot water system repairs
- Chilled water systems and HVAC piping
- Basic plumbing skills
- Performing preventative maintenance on mechanical systems
- Interpret and apply technical drawings, schematics, and documentation
- Perform both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulatory requirements
- Accurately complete maintenance logs and system documentation
- Apply strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to system issues
- Work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed
- Support consistent environmental control to meet manufacturing and facility standards
- OSHA 10/30 certification a plus
- Basic welding/soldering experience
- Familiarity with backflow prevention systems or fire suppression piping
Commercial Maintenance/ General Maintenance
Minimum Qualifications & Experience- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of commercial pipe fitting/plumbing and HVAC experience
- Proficient with hand and power tools: pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, threading machines, pressure test pumps, gauges
- Experience with various piping materials: copper, PVC, PEX, steel
- Familiarity with:
- Water supply, drainage, gas, steam, and HVAC piping systems
- Steam and hot water system repairs
- Chilled water systems and HVAC piping
- Drainage and waste piping (including clogs and leak troubleshooting)
- Performing preventative maintenance on mechanical systems
- Deliver professional and responsive customer service with a focus on quality and safety
- Operate, troubleshoot, and repair piping systems and equipment
- Support startup and commissioning of new equipment or system upgrades
- Document all work in compliance with cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards and company policies
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to off-hours maintenance emergencies
- Follow all safety protocols, work instructions, and SOPs
- Strong teamwork, communication, and willingness to learn
- OSHA 10/30 certification a plus
