We’re hiring an experienced Access Control Technician with pay up to $90K+ and the opportunity to step into a Lead or Foreman role. We are architects of connectivity who have delivered solutions at iconic venues like Gillette Stadium and globally for brands like Life Time Fitness. Responsibilities- Supervise a skilled crew of technicians and subcontractors, assign tasks, and keep the team moving with precision and purpose.
- Install magnetic locks, electric strikes, card readers, and biometric scanners and integrate them seamlessly with CCTV systems.
- Configure advanced platforms like Lenel
S2, Genetec, and Avigilon, setting up permissions, time zones, and alarm triggers that keep businesses secure. - Conduct site walks, enforce OSHA safety protocols, and ensure every detail meets quality and compliance benchmarks.
- Communicate milestones to project managers and coordinate with electricians, locksmiths, and other trades to keep projects on track and on time.
- You have hands‑on experience with commercial access control, CCTV, intrusion, intercom, or similar low‑voltage security systems
- You’re comfortable commissioning systems, programming devices, and working with networked security hardware
- You enjoy mentoring others, coordinating small crews, and keeping projects running smoothly
- You take pride in detailed, high‑quality work and enjoy working directly with customers and partners
- MA Low Voltage License
- OSHA 30
- 5+ years in low‑voltage security, with 1–2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
- Strong Excel skills to manage project data, schedules, and digital reporting with precision.
- Manufacturer certifications (i.e. Software House, AMAG)
- Technical Proficiency in IP networking, relay logic, and reading construction risers/blueprints.
- Strong conflict resolution, time management, and the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical clients.
$73,000.00 - $93,000.00+ per year
