Emergency Room Nurse

Base pay range

$63.72/hr - $66.72/hr

Active RN License in the state of practice OR Compact (NLC) RN License (if applicable)

• BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – Required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support Swiftly) – Required or Strongly Preferred
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) – Preferred
• CPI or de‑escalation training – Preferred

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience

• Patient triage and prioritization
• High‑acuity and critical patients
• Cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and trauma cases
• IV starts, blood draws, and medication administration
• Ability to manage multiple patients simultaneously Brand
• Comfortable working evening/night shifts (15:00 – 03:30)
• Strong critical‑thinking and decision‑making skills
• Excellent assessment and multitasking abilities
• Ability to respond quickly to changing patient conditions
• Familiar with emergency equipment and monitors
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to supervise and delegate care to support staff

• Assess, plan, and implement direct nursing care for emergency patients
• Triage patients and prioritize care based on severity
• Monitor patient condition and respond to rapid changes
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Document care accurately in the EMR
• Supervise and delegate care to support staff as appropriate
• Support the facility CNO in maintaining high‑quality, safe nursing care
• Follow hospital policies, emergency protocols, and safety standards
