We are currently hiring for BI Solution Architect Fulltime position with our client.

Location: Farmingham, MA

Required Skills:

• 9+ years of experience in the field of Data modeling and Data Architecture
• Teradata based physical database design leveraging constructs such as Secondary/Join indexes, Statistics, Partitioned Primary Indexes
• Design and develop load processes using BETEQ scripts & Teradata based load utilities (TPT, Fastload/Multiload) and queries with complex workloads and large transaction volumes
• Expertise in ELT based data transformation to apply complex business rules to transform source data
• Identification and optimization of sub-optimal queries & load processes
• Adoption of features/best practices introduced in newer versions of Teradata
• Assist ETL & BI development teams in writing complex SQL in an efficient way leveraging Teradata best practices
• Ability to understand data and develop subject matter expertise on complex applications
• Review logical and physical data models to support complex end user dashboard/reports and queries
• Ability to drive and lead projects during the implementation, test and deploy phases, proactively identify & mitigate technical issues. Ability to work in a matrix environment consisting of Solution, Business Intelligence, Data Integration & Quality Assurance teams and successfully collaborate to meet the project objectives
• Developing and implementing Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW), Data Warehouses (DW), Data Marts (DM), Decision Support Systems (DSS) and Operational Data Stores (ODS)
• Developing and maintaining enterprise-wide data models, Logical Data Models (LDM), Physical Data Models (PDM)
• Excellent personal communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Retail related data warehousing experience a plus
