Network Administrator

Senior Network Administrator – Framingham, MA

Base pay range: $110,000 – $145,000 per year.

• Design and deliver hybrid infrastructure solutions (cloud, on‑prem, and hybrid) with a focus on security, performance, and resilience.
• Own and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
• Manage virtualized infrastructure (VMware, Hyper‑V, Nutanix) to ensure high availability and performance.
• Lead and resolve critical infrastructure incidents, including root cause analysis.
• Configure and support network technologies: routing & switching, VLANs/VNets, SD‑WAN, firewalls, wireless, secure remote access, and internet gateways.
• Monitor network performance and proactively address issues before they impact the business.
• Partner closely with security teams on hardening, risk mitigation, and best practices.

• 10+ years of experience supporting enterprise or hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Strong currency expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization.
Hands‑on experience with Azure and/or AWS.
• Deep knowledge of networking protocols, security architecture, and SD‑WAN.
• Comfortable with documentation, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or guiding IT teams

• Hands‑on SD‑WAN design or optimization experience.
• Certifications such as Azure, Cisco, ITIL (CISSP a plus).
