Job Summary

The Junior Data Analyst partners with cross-functional business teams to source, analyze, and report on data that supports operational and financial decision-making. This role focuses on report development, data quality improvement, and translating complex datasets into actionable insights while supporting ongoing and ad‑hoc reporting needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to source data from multiple datasets
• Identify new reporting opportunities and develop business‑driven reports
• Design and maintain reports and databases
• Train end users on reporting tools and outputs
• Document reporting process flows and methodologies
• Analyze data to identify trends, connections, and issues impacting operational and financial controls
• Support ad‑hoc reporting and special projects as assigned
• Collaborate closely with business teams to improve data collection and data quality

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Experience working with large datasets
• Intermediate to advanced Power BI experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to extract, manipulate, and analyze data using business intelligence tools

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of data warehousing and data lake architecture
• Experience with Excel uploads and structured datasets
• Prior retail industry experience

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required
  • Preferred fields:
    Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline
• 1–5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role
