GUARDIAN ANGEL SENIOR SERVICES is looking to add Home Health Aide to join our team in Framingham & Natick locations who are compassionate and support elderly residents in their homes with all daily assigned activities as well as ensure residents  safety and well-being by facilitating social interactions, therapeutic conversations, and secure environments. Also offer prompts to the client, if needed. They should demonstrate knowledge of all aspects of resident care by using a sensitive approach.

The Home Health Aide should maintain a safe and secure environment by following all standards and procedures and taking care of all safety precautions.

• Supervision and assistance in bathing, dressing/undressing, and other hygiene-related responsibilities
• Assistance in mobility and encouragement of clients to follow prescribed exercise programs which may include range of motion (ROM) exercises and walking
• Assistance in transferring client from bed to chair or other equipment
• Assistance in turning and re-positioning the client as prescribed and providing care to pressure point areas (e.g., back rubs)
• Housekeeping such as vacuuming, emptying trash, changing bed linens, and maintaining a clean bathroom and kitchen
• Laundry services
• Meal preparation and serving to clients, ensuring dietary requirements are followed
• Reminding about medications and assisting with pre-dosed medicines
• Continence care
• Shopping for groceries and other household requirements (Not applicable for non-Drivers)
• Transportation when needed (e.g., taking clients to appointments or therapy) (Not Mandatory)

• High school diploma or GED required
• HHA or CNA certification
