Senior Residential Clinician – Juvenile Justice Residential ProgramEliot is seeking a compassionate and committed Senior Residential Clinician for our Juvenile Justice residential program. The program provides placement for court‑involved youth, ages 13 to 21, while awaiting court proceedings or treatment. This highly structured, self‑contained program offers comprehensive interventions for juvenile offenders, including fully accredited schools and clinical support with individual and group therapy. All components are integrated through a Positive Youth Development framework.
In this role you will provide individual, family and group clinical support, therapy and interventions. Ideal candidates will have experience working with adolescents in a team environment, and an understanding and/or willingness to learn and implement the tenets of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with youth, parents, referral and funding sources, siblings and/or extended safety nets.
- Provide individual and family therapy in accordance with the program, Department of Youth Services (DYS), Department of Early Education and Care (DEEC) and Eliot policies and procedures.
- Manage the development and implementation of Individual Service Plans.
- Supervise case management and advocacy for youth.
- Have knowledge of resources in each community in which youth live.
- Attend administrative, staff, and shift change meetings, and facilitate clinical and community meetings.
- Licensed as a LICSW, LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW.
- At least three years direct experience with the population.
- Knowledge and experience with clinical issues of children and adolescents and working knowledge of DBT and substance use/substance use disorder.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong professional working relationships with residents, staff, co‑workers, and supervisors.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and cultures.
- Ability to physically carry out Crisis Prevention Intervention techniques.
Flexibility in an evening schedule. 30–40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, no weekends. Shift availability: 3pm–9pm or 4pm–10pm.
* Sign‑On Bonus prorated to hours worked per week.
Annual Salary: $60,000 USD – $70,000 USD
