Physical Therapist
Provides physical therapy and related services for patients while maintaining positive levels of interaction with facilities and clients in accordance with physical therapy principles andant Rehabilitation guidelines. Ensures quality patient care including screening, evaluation, development of treatment plans, discharge planning, supervision of assistants and rehab techs, and case management responsibilities. Maintains professional conduct that reflects Reliant Rehabilitation’s commitment to quality and service.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Optimize patients’ functionality and skills through direct, supervising, and overseeing physical therapy.
- Provide consultation and clinical supervision to PTAs.
- Directly supervise PTAs and rehab techs during group and individual treatment, promoting efficient utilization of resources.
- Build a strong physical therapy program.
- Enhance clinical expertise and management skills through interactions with managers, therapists, and other staff, self‑study, and continuing education.
- Maintain a valid state license and stay aware of profession‑related issues.
- Understand payment models and billing guidelines to provide quality care within guidelines.
- Be compliant with infection control and environmental safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively in English: instructions, correspondence, charts, memos, and reports.
