The Framingham Youth Theatre (FYT) Summer Program Teacher provides high-level instructional leadership and expertise, ensuring the effective delivery and development of a rigorous academic program for the district's students. This role is responsible for enhancing the educational experience by designing and executing a comprehensive program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and developmental abilities of all learners. Key responsibilities include creating a classroom environment conducive to learning, defining clear instructional objectives, and supervising the purposeful delegation of tasks to program assistants and aides.

The FTY Summer Program Teacher serves as a primary resource for students, colleagues, and families, requiring exceptional problem‑solving skills, pedagogical knowledge, and the ability to manage complex instructional projects in a fast‑paced environment. • Candidates holding a valid license from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) are preferred.

  Basic knowledge of effective youth Theatre principles, practices, and trends is required.
• Instructional Design:

• Language Proficiency:
  Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is strongly preferred.
