The Framingham Youth Theatre (FYT) Summer Program Assistant Teacher provides high-level instructional support to the teacher, ensuring the effective delivery and development of specialized summer programs for the district’s students. This role is responsible for enhancing the educational experience for students and staff by managing daily schedules and facilitating curriculum activities. Key responsibilities include applying knowledge of healthy social and emotional development to support all learners, maintaining a safe environment, and ensuring clear communication between staff, families, and colleagues.

  Experience:
  
  A minimum of one (1) year of experience as an educator in a school or community‑based setting is preferred.
• Specialized Knowledge:
  Basic knowledge of effective youth theatre principles, practices, and trends is preferred.
• Language Proficiency:
  Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is strongly preferred.

• Communication & Presentation:
  Communicate clearly and concisely in both oral and written forms; effectively present information and respond to questions from staff, parents, and the general public.
