PositionSummary
The ideal candidate will join a vibrant educational community and have a desire and ability to serve a population of students with various needs and backgrounds. The Program Coordinator ELL to Behavioral Health and Technology Pathways will report to the Executive Director of Corporate Partnerships and Workforce Development (CPWD). This position will work in collaboration with the Director of Community Education.
The Program Coordinator supports international, newcomer, immigrant and incumbent worker students in their journey through English as a second language (ESL), Basic Computers as a base, and progressing them into Behavioral Health Technician, Psychology, Study of Human Behavior, Crisis Management, EPIC, Cyber Security.
- Support program and students with English as a second language — Behavioral Health Technician (ESL-BHT) pathway requirements.
- Develop and support new programming in Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) and technology.
- Facilitate engaging career events, industry information kiosks, and community fairs about Behavioral Health and Technology.
- Develop new partnerships to help the community and constituents understand our pathways.
- Meet one-on-one with ESL pathway students as touchpoints.
- Collaborate with career services staff and instructors in Behavioral Health and Technology programs to support student success and program operations.
- Work with faculty to understand and anticipate their needs and expectations from each student.
- Ensure compliance with program certification requirements are completed by each student.
- Expand community awareness about jobs in Behavioral Health and Technology.
- Collaborate across departments and with data administrators to build successful outcomes.
- Develop systems within the workplace to inform more community members about ESL-BHT and Technology pathways.
- Monitor student compliance and attendance and provide referrals to wraparound supports as needed.
- Teach English language learners (ELL) and evaluate student outcomes.
- Create content for career pathways for ELL students.
- Accept training in Training Opportunities Program (TOPS) administration with Mass Hire.
- Maintain strong connections with behavioral health partners, corporate associates, students, and industry stakeholders.
- Collaborate with instructors in Behavioral Health Tech, Technology, and Health Care to support best practices, strengthen partnerships, and promote successful career placement outcomes.
- Work with the Corporate Partnerships data administrator to support all operational needs of the ESL-to-Behavioral Health and ESL-to-Technology pathways, including student placement and program coordination.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director and Director to support student success and job placement efforts, including scheduling courses, workshops, and fairs, and assisting with recruiting and registration activities.
- Navigate resources related to psychology and human behavior and provide support with logins, classroom links, space allocation, certificates, and systems required for students to complete program pipelines and meet career requirements.
- Support students to succeed on their educational journey from English language learners (ELL) to Career Certificate.
- Direct community outreach and engagement.
- Other duties as assigned.
Must have reliable transportation and the ability to commute to worksites. Must work onsite at Framingham at least 2–3 days a week. Saturdays and occasional events offsite.

Minimum Qualifications- Master's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Business Administration, Marketing, Education Administration, or related field; with three (3) years of experience and/or training involving area of assignment (e.g., business management, program/project management, grant administration, budget development, community relations, curriculum…
