POSITION SUMMARY
The Expanded Learning Time (ELT) Group Leader is responsible for the delivery of engaging and academically enriching activities for Framingham Public Schools students in grades Pre‑K‑12. ELT Group Leaders are expected to help execute high quality project based learning activities during before and after‑school programming, and also support the healthy social and emotional development of all students. The ideal candidate is creative, flexible, able to positively engage with staff, families, and colleagues, and is deeply passionate about the power of out‑of‑school time programs to advance student learning and development.

Framingham Public Schools seeks candidates whose background, teaching, or service has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to diversity, inclusion, and belonging in all aspects of education.
- A high school diploma is required; additional post‑secondary education credits in a related field are preferred.
- A minimum of one year of experience as an educator in a school or community‑based setting is required.
- Basic knowledge of effective youth development and OST principles, practices, and trends is required.
- Experience working with children and adults from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds is required.
- Experience with curriculum design and lesson planning is preferred.
- Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work with diverse populations of students, including students with disabilities and multilingual learners.
- Strong capacity to build and maintain positive relationships with children, staff, families, and supervisors.
- Capacity to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form.
- Willingness to engage in positive, proactive and restorative conflict resolution processes.
- High level of professionalism, including the ability to follow all district, state, and federal requirements, such as those required by the MA Department of Early Education and Care (Elementary) and DESE 21st Century Community Learning Center programs (Secondary).
