Hours: 40 hours per week

Pay Range: $22.50 - $29.00 USD

The Retail Banker I is a customer liaison that delivers TD’s Brand promise by using financial expertise and consultative advice to assist customers with their banking solutions and needs. This role supports business objectives by identifying TD solutions that help customers achieve financial goals and strengthen their relationship with TD.

• Proficiently execute routine transactions and identify opportunities to educate customers on bank products and services.
• Maintain full knowledge of product suite, services and processes to provide accurate information.
• Build and nurture customer relationships through active listening and proactive conversation.
• Make product recommendations tailored to customer needs and highlight benefits.
• Use CRM tools to drive customer assessments, identify solutions and conduct outbound sales activities.
• Resolve customer issues independently, escalating when necessary.
• Explain detailed or complex information to customers clearly.
• Participate in customer outreach, service, and advice activities.
• Engage in loan product conversations and facilitate application intake.
• Maintain active NMLS registration.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year customer or sales experience (volunteer, education, military acceptable).
• Teller experience preferred.
• Ability to complete teller training upon hire.
• Strong communication, organization, scheduling, and prioritization skills.
• Sound judgment and effective problem‑solving.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Notary license preferred.

• Occasional domestic travel; never international travel.
• Continuous sedentary work; continuous multiple tasks.
• Operate standard office equipment continuously.
• Continuous responsiveness to sounds; frequent sitting and standing; occasional walking, reaching, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Continuous concentration, reading, writing, and basic math.
