Senior Designer - Creative Services (Social Media Content)
8 Month Contract (minimum) | Hybrid | Greater Boston Area

Our client is seeking a Senior Designer / Social Media Content Creator to join an in-house creative team supporting high-volume, fast-moving social channels. This role is focused on concepting, shooting, and producing short-form video content across Instagram and Tik Tok for both organic and paid use.

This is a contract role starting around late March with strong potential to extend.

What You'll Do

• Concept, shoot, and edit short-form social content including Reels, Stories, and Tik Tok videos

• Capture photo and video content in retail environments, including early-morning shoots on occasion

• Translate briefs into platform-specific content that aligns with brand guidelines and business goals

• Stay current on social trends and understand how they apply differently across Tik Tok and Instagram

• Collaborate closely with creative leadership, designers, writers, and project managers

• Iterate quickly based on feedback and evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Support both always-on and campaign-based social content initiatives

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of experience as a designer or content creator

• 3+ years focused on social media content and/or video editing

• Strong understanding of Instagram and Tik Tok algorithms and best practices

• Hands-on experience shooting and editing content on iPhone

• Proficiency in:

• Adobe Photoshop (required)

• Premiere Pro or After Effects (one required)

• Cap Cut or Splice (one required)

• Strong eye for typography, composition, and visual storytelling

• Genuine interest in social media, content creation, and fashion or lifestyle brands

• Ability to work collaboratively while owning projects end to end

Portfolio Requirements (Required)

• Portfolio must include video content

• Examples may include Reels, Tik Toks, Stories, or carousels

• Links to personal or professional Instagram and/or Tik Tok accounts encouraged

Location & Schedule

• Hybrid role based in the Greater Boston area

• In-office presence required two days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday)

• Local travel required for content capture (transportation not provided)

• Early start times may be required on shoot days (as early as 7:30am)
