The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for optimizing sales processes by analyzing performance data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to improve efficiency and revenue growth. This individual also manages CRM systems, ensures data accuracy, and supports strategic decision-making through reporting and forecasting with commercial partners.
This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Sales Operations and is part of the Commercial Operations team located in the United States, preferably on-site in Waltham, MA.
In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for commercial and revenue performance improvement
- Develop and deliver dashboards, reports, and forecasts to support strategic decision making with Sales Leaders and their teams
- Support territory planning, quota setting, and incentive programs that align with organizational strategy and provide direction to selling teams
- Maintain and assist in routine contracted pricing updates for Abcam’s global customer base
- Maintain and optimize CRM systems along with IT business partners to ensure data integrity and accurate reporting for commercial leads
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field with 3+ Years of experience in Sales Operations or Commercial Operations-related roles
- Expertise with data visualization tools (Tableau and Power
BI) - Firm understanding of sales processes, revenue drivers, and an ability to translate commercial strategy to tactics with management
- Strong interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally with customer operations and sales leadership
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs with in-depth Excel skills
- Ability to travel up to 10% of time as business dictates
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 20lb; any other physical requirements as applicable

The annual salary range for this role is $80K-90K. This is the range that we believe is the possible compensation for this role at the time of posting. The range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
