DVM Careers Consultant | Veterinary Recruitment Specialist | USA
We’re excited to be working with a well-established small animal hospital in Norfolk County, MA that has been part of the local community since the 1950s. The practice has a reputation for loyal clients, quality care, and a welcoming atmosphere.
The hospital operates from a renovated house that was expanded in 2016, offering a spacious and functional environment. Inside, you’ll find a dedicated surgical suite, a separate dental suite, digital X-ray and dental X-ray, ultrasound, and a large treatment and recovery area. There’s also a full kitchen and staff living space, providing a comfortable break room for the team.
The medical team currently includes two veterinarians supported by relief vets, technicians, and client service staff. Each doctor is paired with two dedicated technicians during appointments, ensuring strong support and a 1:2 DVM-to-tech ratio. The caseload is primarily cats and dogs, with soft tissue surgeries and dentistry forming the surgical core and the new DVM here will ideally be interested in surgery.
While experienced veterinarians are highly encouraged to apply, the hospital is also open to mentoring recent graduates. Schedules are structured, with 20-minute appointments, surgery days, and no weekend, on-call, or emergency requirements. A fantastic work-life balance can be sought here!
