* Radiologic Technologist [MA] required
* Registered Technologist [R.T.(ARRT)] - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred
* Must effectively use interpersonal skills to deal with patients and fellow employees who may be under physical and/or emotional stress. Maintains composure at all times.
* Excellent attention to detail, written, and communication skills; must be able to read and write in English.
* Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, principles of radiation physics, ALARA, radiographic equipment and positioning.
* Must be physically capable of lifting a minimum of 40 lbs (i.e., linen, supplies, patients).
* Ability to recognize and respond appropriately to emergency and infection control situations.
* Displays a positive attitude and professional appearance; exemplifies flexibility and willingness to adapt to the operational needs of the department and MGB.
* Board eligible through the American Board of Radiology.
