Foxborough Regional Charter School District (FRCS) is a unique and diverse school serving students from across Southeastern Massachusetts. Approximately 1500 students and families come from urban and suburban communities and represent various backgrounds, ethnicities, and experiences. The Elementary School at FRCS serves approximately 700 students in grades K-4. The 80+ staff members in the Elementary School are dedicated, collaborative, and compassionate educators and faculty who strive to provide all students with the tools needed to become successful global citizens and leaders. In addition to providing a standards-based curriculum, we also provide opportunities for students to build their character, engage in a range of specialized classes, and learn Spanish starting in Kindergarten.

Job Summary:
Teaches subject matter and skills to all students, contributing to their development as mature, knowledgeable, and responsible learners. Candidates should be able to demonstrate mastery of child development, subject knowledge, common core state standards, a proven ability to manage a classroom, the desire and ability to work up to the standards of a high-performing team, and an entrepreneurial spirit and approach to teaching.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate for this position will:
* Demonstrate expertise and knowledge of all content areas they teach, including the appropriate levels of cognitive, social, and emotional development of the young child;
* Establish a respectful environment for a diverse population of students, developing a classroom learning environment in which each child has a positive, nurturing relationship with caring adults and other children;
* Facilitate learning for all students using a variety of instructional methods to provide students with opportunities to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, encourage exploration of ideas, and develop leadership qualities;
* Reflect on teaching practices, analyze student learning, development, and growth, and apply what is learned to improve instruction;
* Demonstrate leadership, advocate for the school and it's students, and exhibit high ethical standards;
* Take responsibility for student academic growth using a variety of assessments and ongoing improvement of instructional practice;
