Description:

Assistant Principal positions are anticipated for the  school year, at Eagleside Elementary School and Patriot Elementary School.

Job Function:

The Assistant Principal participates as a part of the administrative team, which shares responsibilities, leadership, mission and goal implementation for the school. Generally, the Assistant Principal will oversee Special Education in the school.

Qualifications:

* Minimum five years teaching experience

* Possess a MA Degree or higher

* A valid Colorado Principal license or be eligible for same at the time of employment required

* One year or more of experience as an educational administrator to include supervision and evaluation of staff - preferred

* Knowledge of Special Education - preferred

Fountain-Fort Carson School District Eight spans an area of approximately 150 square miles. The city of Fountain, Fort Carson Military Installation, Rock Creek Township, and several surrounding rural areas all fall within the District parameters.
