Salary: $109,226 - $164,000  salary schedule)

An A.I.M. Center Site Director is anticipated for the  school year, at AIM Education Center.

Serve as the sole site director of a unique school, the Achieve Inspire Motivate (A.I.M.) Education Center, that supports students who have experienced trauma and require a specifically designed environment as well as that supports students participating in the 18-21 transition program. This administrator assumes responsibilities, leadership, mission and goal implementation for both aspects of the A.I.M. Education center. Additionally, the AIM Center Site Director coordinates programming with administrators at district elementary, middle and high schools.

• Master's degree in Education required for Colorado principal's license, or other administrator license allowing for evaluation of other staff.
• Three to five years of experience in administration.
• Experience in the supervision and evaluation of staff preferred.
• Experience and/or coursework which provides evidence of competence in the use of recent developments in education.
• Experience working with student behavior and/or special education preferred.

Fountain-Fort Carson School District Eight spans an area of approximately 150 square miles. The city of Fountain, Fort Carson Military Installation, Rock Creek Township, and several surrounding rural areas all fall within the District parameters. Fountain-Fort Carson School District Eight has experienced consistent growth. Fountain-Fort Carson School District Eight includes eight elementary schools and two dedicated preschools. Four of the elementary schools and a preschool are located in the city of Fountain (Aragon, Jordahl, Mesa, Eagleside Elementary schools, and Conrad Early Learning Center) while the other four elementary schools (Abrams, Patriot, Mountainside, and Weikel Elementary and Weikel Preschool) are located on Fort Carson.

The district has two middle schools. Fountain Middle School is located in the city of Fountain and Carson Middle School is located on Fort Carson. The district's two high schools, Fountain-Fort Carson High School and Welte Education Center, are both located in the city of Fountain. Fountain-Fort Carson School District Eight boasts award-winning and nationally recognized schools. District Eight is recognized by Colorado Government officials and the State Board of Education as a leader in student achievement.

The District is a model for lowering the achievement gap for minority students and low socio-economic children.
