Pay Range*: $54.19 - $68.37

• Utilizes the nursing process and AORN standards as a framework for the management of patient care.
• Analyzes the assessment data to determine a nursing diagnosis and appropriate interventions.
• Demonstrates leadership in the coordination of patient care across the healthcare continuum with progress towards meeting desired patient outcomes.
• Delegates to licensed and unlicensed personnel.
• Demonstrates the ability to utilize effective critical thinking skills.
• Prioritizes essential functions.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the clinical information system and applies principles to patient documentation.
• Contributes to an effective and safe working environment.
• Formulates a teaching plan, based on identified patient learning needs, and evaluates effectiveness of learning; family is included in teaching plan as necessary.
• Serves as a role model and mentors new staff members.
• Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of patient privacy rights. Maintains confidentiality of all medical, financial and other sensitive material in printed, electronic or verbal form, which may jeopardize the privacy of patients and or employees.
• Demonstrates the ability to use good customer service skills by managing and acknowledging patient‑family significant other expectations.
• Demonstrates tact, sensitivity and discretion.
• Demonstrates the ability to integrate knowledge of job specific competencies.

* Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. • California RN License required
• BSN Required
• One year plus in a CVOR Operating Room in an Acute Care setting.
• Current AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers card
• Current ACLS card preferred
• Specialty Certification preferred
• Computer, internet, order entry and word processing experience preferred.
