Forklift Battery Technician

The Ultra Care Technician is responsible for watering, cleaning, conducting minor repairs, and maintaining electric batteries and battery chargers in a timely and efficient manner while providing outstanding customer service. The applicant will be working with little to no direct supervision; therefore, they need to demonstrate honesty, dependability, time management, and critical decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform duties effectively, including filling out work orders accurately.
• Convey information professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Operate and maintain a company vehicle, including inventory management.
• Drive company vehicles safely and courteously.
• Maintain communication with Service and Management regarding customer issues.
• Manage and account for all company property.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Operate forklifts or pallet jacks as needed.
• Practice safety and good housekeeping at customer sites, representing Motive Energy professionally.
• Wear PPE as required; PPE will be provided.
• Use shop and hand tools effectively.
• Possess forklift experience and/or certification.
• Identify problems and determine necessary repairs.
• Apply critical thinking, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
• Handle difficult situations positively.
• Prioritize and multitask between service calls.
• Be detail-oriented in administrative tasks and paperwork.
