Fountain Valley School District is seeking a qualified and collaborative Long-Term Substitute Teacher to provide Science instruction for 8th grade students at Fulton Middle School. This long-term assignment is anticipated to begin February 19, 2026, and continue through April 20, 2026. Up to two overlap days with the current teacher may be scheduled prior to the official start date, based on availability.
The ideal candidate will deliver engaging, standards-aligned science instruction rooted in the California Science Framework, foster a positive and inquiry-based classroom environment, and collaborate effectively with students, colleagues, and site leadership.
The role requires delivering engaging science instruction for 8th grade aligned to California standards, fostering inquiry-based learning, and collaborating with students, colleagues, and site leadership to support student success.
Qualifications- Copy of Valid California Single Subject Credential – Science OR Subject Matter Authorization – Science
